Stacey Simon
Stacey have been an accountant for 20 years. provided bookkeeping and accounting services for more than 100 clients, almost all of whom are small businesses. Before she founded her own business, she worked in corporate accounting for more than 10 years.
She is an MBA from Salem State with a concentration in financial planning, and a bookkeeping background in industries, including consulting, marketing, photography, design, nonprofit as well as restaurant, real estate, retail, and construction.
Her software experience includes QuickBooks Desktop, QBO, Wave, Harvest, Xero, Elite, Great Plains, FreshBooks, Square, PayPal, and Bill.com. She has also setting up user interfaces with banking platforms, including Citibank, Bank of America, Citizens, and many more!
Steven Lacob, CPA
Steven has been an accountant for over 20 years. He spent the first half of his career as an auditor, primarily focused on the Hedge and Private equity fund world working with some of the biggest funds in the world.
On the private side, he has worked in both the fund administration and outsourced CFO world servicing Private Equity ranging from Infrastructure funds, fund of funds, early-stage venture capital funds, to buy-out funds.
His software experience includes Investran, Intacct, QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Expensify.
Vic Batavia, CFA, CPA
Vic is a finance executive with 20 years of experience in the areas of operations, accounting, audit, tax, risk management, and reporting to C-suite with a focus on Investment Management, Mortgage & Non-profit services, servicing a wide range of clientele, from world’s largest assets managers with AUM of more than $1 trillion to start-up funds with AUM of $20 million including HNI family office.
His work practice areas include accounting, compliance, audit, and related services within the regulatory regime of US GAAP, IFRS, SEC, and OSC.
Kate Engineer
Kate Engineer brings over 5 years of extensive experience in banking, credit analysis, customer service, and a variety of administrative roles within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on retail banking operations. Known for her energetic and positive can-do attitude, Kate excels in delivering exceptional client services in a tech-savvy and dynamic environment.
In her current role, Kate is responsible for a range of administrative tasks including organizing meetings, managing data and filing logistics, and utilizing her expertise with Outlook, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other software applications to ensure efficient operations.
